MEET OUR COACHES
THE OUTLAW BOXING TEAM
Outlaw Boxing first opened its doors in September of 2019, offering professional boxing sessions to clients of all abilities. Since that time, both the gym and client base has grown significantly. Whilst this wouldn’t have been possible without our valued clients, it also wouldn’t have been possible without our coaching team. Read more about the Outlaw team below.
HEAD COACH & FOUNDER
LUKE FISHER
Having started his own boxing journey at 10 years old, boxing for Scunthorpe Centurions ABC, Luke quickly realised his passion for boxing and dedicated himself to the sport. After 6 years at the Centurions, he moved to Highfields ABC where he boxed for 2 years before joining the Royal Navy at 18. Luke was fortunate enough to represent the Royal Navy for 5 years, and during this time, he was crowned Royal Navy Champion 4 times, Combined Service Champion 4 times, along with being ranked in the top 10 in England for 4 years.
After leaving the Royal Navy, Luke signed a professional contract with Carl Greaves Promotions, where he became successful in his first 6 fights.
Since then, Luke has taken a brief step back from the professional scene, with his focus being on firmly establishing Outlaw Boxing as a boxing coaching facility for all levels of fitness and ability. He is keen to return to professional boxing, but when the time is right.
BOXING COACH
TOM WATSON
Tom started as an Outlaw Boxing member, having been boxing under Luke’s coaching and guidance for 3 years. Showing a keen interest and being a great boxing talent, Tom has since progressed into a coaching role with Outlaw.
Here’s what Luke has to say about our newest coach, Tom:
“He’s one of the most coachable lads I know, and after watching him run his own boxing sessions on a Saturday morning with other Outlaw Boxing members, I know with some time working on his own craft and coaching delivery, he’ll continue to grow as an asset to the Outlaw family”.
I started following Luke’s progress through his professional boxing career and being able to see him train at Outlaw Boxing, I really want to try out this type of training to help my general fitness levels.
Wow, what sessions he puts on. Turn up and Luke will encourage you to work your socks off. Never burnt that number of calories in an hour’s session before! Every session is fresh & different, whether you’re looking for an hour’s blowout or Luke’s technical knowledge I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else.
The biggest complement I can give Luke was a knew he was a talented professional fighter but for me he’s an even more talented boxing coach and motivator.
After a very keen interest in boxing throughout my entire adult life, the Outlaw Boxing finally gave me the opportunity to practice something I have enjoyed to spectate for so long.
Every time I turn up for a session, I am greeted by Luke who always has a smile on his face and it’s so refreshing to be coached by a trainer who has a completely undeniable love for not only boxing, but fitness and wellness. Luke caters for all ability levels and every session is a fresh thinking approach to sport that has been around for hundreds of years.
I would go as far as saying that The Outlaw Boxing has changed my life. Not only am in the best shape of my life, I am also in the best mindset of my life.
